Welcome back to Day 10 of "40 Days to Medical Exercise Success". This session will discuss developing your MET niche or area of specialization. In the last segment we asked you to review our MET Skills Checklist to assess your skills. This will help you determine your skills and knowledge.
Once you have completed the skills checklist to begin thinking of the 2 - 3 areas you wish to specialize in or your niches. Just because you select MET specialties or niches does not mean you are unable to work with other clients. Developing skills in a niche or specialization will make your overall skill set stronger to work with any MET client.

Article marketing can be a huge addition to your overal marketing plan. As mentioned in the video, Ernis Schmayr, MES of Hamilton, ON, Canada has used article marketing successfully to attract clients from both the United States and Canada. Start with an article on the 3 - 5 reasons to use a MES. Follow that up with an article on each of the 3 - 5 reasons. This is your start in article marketing. We will discuss this marketing tactic and more in the Medical Exercise Mastermind Blueprint.
Welcome to Day 4 of "40 Days to Medical Exercie Success". The ability to understand and clearly explain your scope of practice and role as a medical exercise professional to clients, medical professionals and others is of vital importance to building your practice. Simply put be able to clearly explain "who you are, what you do, how you do it and who you do it to". If you cannot do this, then someone else may mistakenly define your role.Someone else explaining your role may negatively impact your practice.
This is day 3 of "40 Days to Medical Exercise Success". This video reviews establishing "clarity" as you begin building your MET practice. Over the last 25+ years teaching the Medical Exercise Specialist workshop I have coached many students making the transition from personal training to MET. Lack of clarity is one of the major obstacles to building a MET successful practice. This video explores the importance of gaining "clarity" to build your practice.
