Medical Exercise Specialist Training Series
The MEST program consists of 50 lessons with detailed clinical anatomy training, medical exercise protocols, medical exercise assessment and exercise techniques and medical exercise (MET) case studies and marketing/business development lessons. MEST lesson titles range from: “The Role of the Medical Exercise Professional” to “Medical Exercise Guidelines/Protocols for the Spine” to “Multiple Streams of MET Income” to “Medical Exercise Screening”. Each lesson contains training tips and secrets we have gathered over the last 25 years to help you better manage your clients and build a successful practice.
During the last 25 years we helped many medical exercise professionals develop conditioning programs for their challenging clients as well as helping them establish profitable MET practices and develop referral relationships with physicians and physical therapists. We guarantee MEST will give you everything you need to manage a wide range of medically based clients with exercise and lay the foundation for a strong practice.
Certification Prerequisites
- Certification as a personal trainer from a nationally recognized organization in your country or
- Hold a degree in a health or fitness related field. (i.e. exercise physiology, kinesiology or nursing) or
- Have one (1) or more years’ experience working in a physical therapy, chiropractic or sports medicine clinic as a rehab/exercise technician or
- Hold a certification as a Pilates instructor or massage therapist.
Certification Options
Medical Exercise Specialist
Certification as a Medical Exercise Specialist (MES) requires completion of all MEST lessons and passing the MES final exam. The MES Standard option provides access to 4 MES lessons per month at $99/mth. The MES Standard option requires one year for completion.
The MES accelerated option is also available. Purchase access to the entire MEST program (50 MEST lessons) for only $995 (that’s a $240 savings). The MES accelerated option allows you to complete the MES program and take the final MES exam as soon as you are ready. Register for the ‘Accelerated MES Program’ and receive 4 bonuses:

Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist
Certification as a Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist (PRCS) requires completion of 33 selected MEST lessons. The PRCS standard option provides access to 4 PRCS lessons per month at $99/mth. The PRCS Standard option requires one year for completion.
The PRCS accelerated option is available. Purchase access to the entire PRCS program for only $597. This option allows you immediate access to all 33 PRCS lessons and take the PRCS when you are ready. Register for the “Accelerated PRCS Program” and receive 2 bonuses:

METI Mission Statement
To "Bridge the Gap Between Healthcare and Fitness" by providing forums to educate fitness professionals to work cooperatively with medical professionals to develop safe and effective fitness and conditioning programs for clients with musculoskeletal, neurological, metabolic and cardiovascular conditions. The effectiveness of these fitness programs is based on functional outcome measures universally understood by medical professionals, fitness professionals and insurance carriers. The goal is to make medical exercise training the next logical step for clients and medical professionals after discharge from physical therapy, chiropractic care and medical care.
