Medical Exercise Specialists are faced with a huge challenge. Transitioning from fitness to medical fitness requires a different approach including new systems to measure successful outcomes. Fitness traditionally determined a successful fitness professionals by the number of sessions clients purchased and/or how many clients felt the workout was good. The transition to medical exercise training now requires use of a new set of outcome measures to determine success. To use these outcome measures a series of medical exercise training systems must be put in place. Medical exercise training systems are outlined in the video below.
In the coming days look for a series of posts that will outline each of the MET systems in detail. Please submit your questions to DrMike@postrehab.novoslate.com.
