I am a great fan of the work done by Michael Rozien, MD and Mehmet Oz, MD in developing the “Real Age” concept. You may have seen these gentleman on Oprah. I feel every post rehab professional should incorporate the real age concept into the exercise/wellness program for your clients. The “Real Age” calculation of physical age versus chronological age is as great concept that can be easily incorporated into your facility’s and your practice’s marketing plan. Everyone wants to look and feel young. Real age makes the sale of fitness services very easy. Check out the Real Age calculator at www.RealAge.com. Ask you clients to take this test during their first session and then layout of plan for them to get “younger”. I think you might be surprised how much “youth” and not fitness is the real key to selling fitness.
