Andre’ John Gremillion

My name is Andre’ John Gremillion. I have been married to my wife Shandra for 10 years and we have two wonderful sons Andre Jr. 5 yrs & Solomon 1 yrs old.  I served my country for 10 years as member of the Louisiana Army National Guard, first as an enlisted soldier then moving up the ranks to officer.  The last 18 months of the 10 years was served in Operation Iraqi Freedom III as a first lieutenant and a member of the Louisiana Army National Guard.  I have been certified as MES for 2 years, licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and Personal Trainer for approximately 10 years.

My family and I were relocated to great state of Texas following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Currently residing in the Austin area where I actively practice post-rehab fitness and physical therapy.  I started my health & fitness journey in 1998 working as physical therapy technician in New Orleans, LA.   I have worked in just about every physical therapy setting (acute, outpatient, home health, nursing home, etc.).   I have been blessed to gain 10 years of practical experience working with strokes, traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic patients, high level athletes and general fitness clients as a physical therapy assistant and/or personal trainer.

As an active member of the American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehab Professionals, Dr. Mike has helped me gain the skills needed to 'Bridge the Gap Between Health Care and Fitness'.  As a Medical Exercise Program Director, I look forward to building my own post-rehab practice in addition to helping others transition into the post-rehab field.
