Thank you for your interest in the American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehab Professionals (AAHFRP) and our post rehab training workshops and certifications. We are dedicated to “Bridging the Gap Between Health Care and Fitness” by offering advanced post rehab courses to those fitness professionals working with medical based clients. Since we offered the very first post rehab workshop in 1994, more than 10,000 fitness professionals have obtained our Medical Exercise Specialist (MES), Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist (PRCS) and Medical Exercise Program Director (MEPD) certifications. MES’, PRCS’ and MEPD’s are found working in hospital-based fitness centers, sports medicine centers, physical therapy clinics, chiropractic offices, health clubs and personal training studios. Worldwide thousands of AAHFRP certified post rehab professionals have received referrals from physicians, physical therapists and chiropractors and many have received insurance reimbursement for post rehab services. The MES, PRCS and MEPD certifications workshops are available on DVD. Our Medical Exercise Specialist Workshop is available for post rehab professionals that wish to augment their DVD learning with hands-on training in this 2-day intensive workshop.
